Maker: Valentine's Manual
Antique black & white lithograph print published in D. T. Valentine's 1861 manual of New York City, shows a view of the pear tree which Dutch governor Peter Stuyvesant planted on his farm, now a part of the city's grid on the corner of 13th and 3rd. The tree was destroyed not long after in 1867 when two wagons collided and sent one flying into the trunk. Good condition, approximately 7" x 4.5" to the paper edges.
