Antique black & white lithograph print published in D. T. Valentine's 1868 manual of New York City, shows a view of the Tweed Courthouse depicted with a grand dome which was never constructed. The Civil War, as well as the corruption of the William Tweed Ring ultimatley put the kibosh on many intended elements of the courthouse. Good condition, approximately 5.5 x 8.5" to the paper edges.
