1900 circa
Maker: Cram
Antique printed-color map of New York City and the surrounding area. This map shows all of the railroads in the five boroughs and beyond using a vibrant rainbow color-coded system. It is undated and lacking any publishing information, but it may have been published in George F. Cram's Standard American Railway System Atlas, which was published in several editions during the 1890s and early 1900s. Very good condition with some slight toning at the edges. On verso is a partial map of part of the Bronx including Van Cortlandt Park, Pelham Bay Park, and Bronx Park with St John College. The verso is a partial map, but could be matted within the neatline and none would be the wiser. Approximately 11.75" x 17.25" to the neatline.
