Antique hand-colored map of a portion of the fifth ward of Hudson, New York, from the Atlas of Columbia County, New York, by Beers, Ellis & Co. 1888. Shows names of property owners at the time of publication, railroads, and some points of interest (e.g. Gifford Brothers Foundry & Machine Shop, Hudson Beef Co., part of the fairgrounds, etc.) Original hand-coloring. Very good antique condition with mild toning overall, some minor wrinkling of the paper, and spots of very minor foxing. Center fold, as issued. Measures approx. 15" x 23.25" to the neatline, with the map extending beyond the neatline along the top right, creating a very tight margin there.
