Antique booklet with map of the Thousand Islands published by the Santway Photo-Craft Company c. 1937. This booklet celebrates the new bridge system over the Saint Lawrence River connecting northern New York in the United States with southeastern Ontario in Canada, constructed in 1937. The booklet features many photographs with printed color, and the center of the booklet is a bird's-eye view map of the area with printed color. It labels cities, towns, island, places of note, highways, and the international boundary line. The map could easily be removed from the booklet for framing. Good to very good condition with some mild wrinkling/creases of the old paper, and two slightly rusty staples at the center holding the booklet together. Map measures approx. 5.75 x 17.5 inches
