Antique hand-colored map of a portion of Nichols, New York, published in the Atlas of Tioga County, by Beers, Ellis, and Soule, 1869. Shows the names of property owners at time of publication, as well as railroads, businesses, schools, churches, a then proposed extension to the Chenango Canal, etc. Includes subscriber's business directories for Nichols, Hoopers Valley, and Wappasening. Very good antique condition with toning of the paper throughout, which is darker outside the neatline, spots of foxing/soiling, and some minor edge wear. Measures approximately 14" x 11" to the neatline.
