Antique black and white engraved illustration showing a view of East Hampton, Long Island, New York, as seen from the belfry of a church, published in William Cullen Bryant's classic 1872 work, "Picturesque America." The scene shows two figures in the belfry, looking out at the windmills and homes, with sparrows flying in the foreground. Very good antique condition with mild toning of the paper and a few spots of very minor foxing. Page measures approximately 12.5" x 9.75" overall.
