Maker: Documentary History of the State of New York

Antique engraving showing a view of New York City, Manhattan, as it was in 1768, Copied from the Original Engraving by P. Canot, from the Documentary History of the State of New York, 1850. This is a 19th century reprint of an 18th century engraving. The numbers on the map indicate: the Harbour, Nutting Island, Staten Island, Rutgars House, South River, Brew House. Very good condition with a tiny spot or two in the margin. Could be hand colored by our professional colorist for and additional cost. Measures approx. 4.25 x 6.5 inches to the image edges not including text.
