Antique map of New Guinea and the Papuan Archipelago from The Times Atlas, published by "The Times" in 1900. Gives a close look at New Guinea and the surrounding islands. Features inset maps of Astrolabe Bay, Gazelle Peninsula and also a small inset map of Wales at the same scale of the general map (for comparison.) Borders are colored according to political affiliations at the time. Good antique condition, with some foxing in the top portion of the map. Original printed color. Measures approximately 9.25 to 14.5 inches, as measured to the neatline.
