1829
Maker: Goldsmith
Antique print from A Grammar of General Geography for the use of Schools and Young Persons… by Rev. J. Goldsmith, engraved by Sidney Hall and published by Longman, Rees, Orme, Brown, and Green, c. 1829. This page has a fascinating chart comprised of a circle of paper attached at the center to a rectangular paper using string. This allows the circular piece to rotate, indicating that when it is noon in London, it is 5pm in Bombay and 7am in New York. Very good antique condition with slight toning at the edges (these can be hidden with a mat when framing). Measures approx. 5.5 x 3.5 inches to the paper edges.
