Antique black and white print with two scenes, one showing a view of a coast on a calm day, and one showing a view of a ship on stormy seas, with many different cloud patterns and formations in each. This print was produced decades before the method of cloud classification that is still in use today was proposed, in the time when the common scientific opinion was that clouds were too inconsistent for classification. Published by Baldwin and Cradock, c. 1833. Very good antique condition with some toning of the paper, with darker toning and some very minor staining along the outer edges. Page measures approximately 10.75" x 8.5" overall.
