Antique map, from F.W. Beers' "County Atlas of New Haven", 1868. Original hand-coloring. Map of Oxford, Connecticut, with districts delineated by color, showing named roads, railroads, property owners, post offices, and topographical details, including "The Large Old Chestnut" near Pines Bridge; also includes similarly detailed maps of Naugatuck, and therein Millville and Straitsville. Very good condition with even toning, some minor spots. Measures approx. 14.75 x 23.5 inches.
