Hitchcock, the New Hampshire State Geologist, panoramic views from the Granite State's mountain-tops, including Mount Carrigain, Chocorua Peak, Trafton's Mountain (Maine), Pequawket, Pleasant Mountain (Maine), and Mount Abram (Maine); pre-dating the earliest USGS topographic maps of New Hampshire the atlas was the first comprehensive map of the New Hampshire's bedrock and surficial geology.
