Each column is color coordinated to indicate the country, colony, or state in which the events took place. The right side contains a list of important persons in the history of the Americas in each of the centuries shown. The events decribed include wars, earthquakes, population statistics, battles of the Revolutionary War, changes in colonial ownership, and more. The larger categories are North America, with Canada, the United States, and Mexico, the West Indies, with the Caribbean, and South America. Published by Carey & Lea in 1827. Very good condition with some edge wear/small tears, and some slight seam separation that was archivally repaired. Approx. 16.5 x 20.5 inches.
