Maker: Oken.
Hand colored early lithograph used for a botanical course, exquisitely detailed scientific botanical illustrations from Oken's Allgemeine Naturgeschichte Botanik. Interestingly, Pflaumen means plum, but most of the plants on this page are in the same family as peas, but towards the bottom of the page it gets into plants related to cashews. Very good condition, approx. 12.5 x 10 inches.
