Antique uncolored map of Berkeley Sound, part of the Falkland Islands, by Abbe Prevost, published in the "Histoire Generale des Voyageâ ‚¬ ¦" in 1773. This map has north oriented to the bottom, making it seem upside-down to modern map readers. Very good overall antique condition, matted. Approx. 6.25 x 9.75 to the neatline, and 10.75 x 14 to the outer mat edge.
