Antique hand-colored map from Mitchell's 1884 New General Atlas. Shows major roads, railroads, notable buildings, water bodies, etc. Includes inset map of The County around Boston showing also its Harbor and Islands. Colored by ward. This map is in good antique condition with minor overall toning, small tear at top, and a large, archivally repaired seam separation at bottom. Slight darkening along fold. Paper is a bit fragile. It measures approximately 13.5 x 21 inches to the outer neatline.
