Maker: The Family Magazine.
Antique uncolored map of York, Virginia, and the surrounding area, showing the layout of camps and artillery in the Revolutionary War. From "The Family Magazine" published in either 1839 or 1843 (there is some ambiguity as to which date is correct). Shows the "Field where the British laid down their Arms", as well as rivers, water bodies, landforms, towns, forts, and roads. Very good antique condition with minor toning, text from reverse side visible. Map measures approximately 4.25 x 6.5 inches, while the full sheet measures approximately 10.5 x 6.5 inches.
