High quality reproduction of an early plan of the Town of Chatham, 1831, by Hale. By the 1820's, Massachusetts required each town to produce a map showing the major roads and features in towns. This map includes churches, windmills, salt works, schools, lighthouses, beaches, hills, forests, islands and ponds. Printed area measures approximately 16.5 x 24 inches. (H x W) Measured to the edges of the printed area. Paper may be larger but can be trimmed as needed.
