Antique printed color map of part of Manhattan, New York City, from the Atlas of New York City, Borough of Manhattan, by Bromley, 1916. Shows E 59th to E 65th and Third Ave to Avenue A with the Queensboro Bridge. The explanation key for this atlas was only included on the index map- pink indicates brick, yellow is frame (wood), an X means the building is a stable, the numbers and letters on each building indicate the number of stories of the building and whether it has a basement, store, or saloon (see index image for full explanation). Very good antique condition with toning overall with minor wear at the paper edges. Sheet measures approx. 11.5 x 16.25 inches. Double-sided sheet has NYC060A on one side and NYC060B on the other side (please add only one of these two maps to your cart).
