Full title: Plate 119. Section of the Map of States of Kansas and Texas and Indian Territory with parts of the Territories of Colorado and New Mexico 1867. Antique lithograph by Julius Bien & Co published in the Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies published under the direction of the Hon. Daniel S. Lamont, Secretary of War, 1894. The atlas was published as a companion piece to the Official Records of the American Civil War. It contains maps and other images derived from materials generated by both Union and Confederate military personnel during the American Civil War. The atlas was printed in 35 parts between 1891 and 1895. Printed color indicates topography and Union or Confederate locations. Greyed areas are Native American Reservations. Very good condition with mild image transfer, a few minor spots/stains and a touch of foxing, and some staining and wear to the paper edges. Small hole in top margin. Mild vertical folds that are barely noticeable. Measures approx. 16 x 27 inches to the outer border lines.
