Genuine Antique Printed Color Map

1930

Maker: Bromley.

Antique printed color map of part of Manhattan, New York City, from the Atlas of New York City by Bromley, 1930. Shows W 127th to W 133rd and Amsterdam Ave to Eighth Ave (Frederick Douglass Blvd) (Frederick Douglass Blvd) with the Convent of the Sacred Heart and St. Nicholas Park. The explanation key for this atlas was only included on the index map- pink indicates brick, yellow is frame (wood), an X means the building is a stable, the numbers and letters on each building indicate the number of stories of the building and whether it has a basement, store, or saloon (see index image for full explanation). Very good antique condition with toning overall and some minor stains. Sheet measures approx. 11.5 x 16.25 inches. Double-sided sheet has NYC089A on one side and NYC089B on the other side (please add only one of these two maps to your cart).
