Genuine Antique Printed Color Map

1930

Maker: Bromley.

Antique printed color map of part of Manhattan, New York City, from the Atlas of New York City, Borough of Manhattan, by Bromley, 1930. Shows W 162nd to W 167th and Broadway to Harlem River, with Highbridge Park and the Croton Aqueduct. The explanation key for this atlas was only included on the index map- pink indicates brick, yellow is frame (wood), an X means the building is a stable, the numbers and letters on each building indicate the number of stories of the building and whether it has a basement, store, or saloon (see index image for full explanation). Very good antique condition with toning overall. Sheet measures approx. 11.5 x 16.25 inches. Double-sided sheet has NYC110A on one side and NYC110B on the other side (please add only one of these two maps to your cart).
