Genuine Antique Printed Color Map

1930

Maker: Bromley.

Antique printed color map of part of Manhattan, New York City, from the Atlas of New York City, Borough of Manhattan, by Bromley, 1930. Shows the Marble Hill area with Broadway and W 225th to W227th. The explanation key for this atlas was only included on the index map- pink indicates brick, yellow is frame (wood), an X means the building is a stable, the numbers and letters on each building indicate the number of stories of the building and whether it has a basement, store, or saloon (see index image for full explanation). Very good antique condition with toning overall. Sheet measures approx. 11.5 x 16.25 inches.
