Full title: Plate 6. Division of the U.S. Army in Virginia, June and July, 1861 / Sketch of Paducah, Ky. And Vicinity / Battle-Field at Logan's Cross-Roads, January 19th, 1862.   Antique lithograph by Julius Bien & Co published in the Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies published under the direction of the Hon. Redfield Proctor, Secretary of War, 1891. The atlas was published as a companion piece to the Official Records of the American Civil War. It contains maps and other images derived from materials generated by both Union and Confederate military personnel during the American Civil War. The atlas was printed in 35 parts between 1891 and 1895. Printed color indicates topography and Union or Confederate locations. The larger map has a great depiction of Washington DC and vicinity. Very good condition with image transfer, a few minor spots/stains and a touch of foxing, and slight wear to the paper edges. Measures approx. 16 x 27 inches to the outer border lines.
