Antique hand-colored coastal report chart of the entrance to Barataria Bay, or Barrataria Bay, in Louisiana. Published by the United States Coast Survey, in their Annual Report of 1853. Includes information regarding water depths, tides, etc. With folds, as issued. Good to very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout (which is heavier at the folds,)some small spots of foxing, and tight margin on lower left side. Measures approximately 17" x 13.5" to the neatline.
