Antique steel engraving print by W. H. Bartlett published in American Scenery Vol. 2, shows a street view of the Second Bank of the United States in Philadelphia, Pennysylvania. Once a national bank, it came under fire from President Jackson in 1829 for supposedly not creating a stable enough currency and its federal charter was revoked turning it into a state bank. Good condition, approximately 8" x 11" to the paper edges.
