Antique steel engraving print by W. H. Bartlett published in American Scenery Vol. 2, shows the town of Harpers Ferry in West Virginia from the Blue Ridge Mountain range. In 1859 the town was the site of John Brown's famous abolitionist raid on a U.S. government arsenal, Good condition with some spots, approximately 8" x 11" to the paper edges.
