Antique steel engraving print published in The Scenery of The United States by D. Appleton and Co, shows a view of the town of New Harmony, Indiana, from a distance with the Wabash River in the background. The town was originally settled by a religious group called Harmonists and was meant to be an ideal model of a utopian community. Good condition, approximately 8" x 11" to the paper edges.
