Antique black & white engraving print by maker Robert Brown published in Countries of The World Vol. 3-4, shows a view of Mount Taranaki and Marsland Hill barracks in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Today, there stands a monument on Marsland Hill commemorating the fallen colonial soldiers who died during the Maori Wars of the mid 19th century. Good condition, approximately 7.5" x 10" to the paper edges.
