Antique black & white engraving print. Shows a view of soldiers and spectators gathered to watch an orator in the Panthéon, Latin Quarter, Paris. The elaborate structure was originally comissioned by Louis XV to be a church, however by the time of its completion the French Revolution had begun and the building was chosen to be a Mausoleum for prominent French figures. Good condition, approximately 12" x 9" to the paper edges
