Antique steel engraving print published in The Scenery of The United States by D. Appleton and Co, 1855, which shows a view of the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains with Hudson, New York nestled in the corner of the view. Good to very good antique condition with mild toning, some minor staining at the outer edges of the paper, and one noticeable spot of foxing/staining at the upper left which can be easily hidden with a mat or frame. Page measures approximately 7.75" x 11" overall. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
