Antique print published in Harper's Weekly on August 6, 1887 showing scenes around Cape Ann, Massachusetts. The images are: Manchester Harbor and the Old Village from Thunderbolt Hill, Lobster Cove Manchester-by-the-Sea, Some Architectural Features of Manchester & Magnolia, Beverly Farms, Magnolia from the North East, A bit of Gloucester, At Rockport, and Halibut Point & the Rocking Stone at the point of Cape Ann. Copied from a drawing by Harry Fenn and published in the newspaper in 1887. This page comes with a page of text that includes the article that accompanies the images. Very good antique condition with some minor toning and wrinkles. This is a larger, centerfold print. Could be hand-colored by our professional colorist for an additional $85. Measures approx. 21.75 x 15.25 inches to the paper edges. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
