This image shows the area as it was in the mid-19th Century, including horse-drawn carriages. The building was the Merchants Exchange only until 1862, at which point it became the Custom house. The building is currently residences and an event venue at 55 Wall Street. This was likely a specialty letterhead. Good overall antique condition with some toning and mild tiny edge tears. Image with caption measures approximately 4.75" x 8". Page measures approx. 10.5 x 8.5 inches.
