Antique print showing a figure in the foreground leaning casually against a rock in front of a large, steep waterfall somewhere in the Delaware Water Gap between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Published in William Cullen Bryant's classic 1872 work, "Picturesque America." Illustration is on the left with a page of text about the area to the right and below the image. Recent hand-coloring. Very good antique condition with some mild toning of the paper, which is darker at the outer edges, and some minor spots of foxing in the margins. Image with caption measures approximately 9" x 2.5".
