Antique black and white print from Harper's Weekly July 21, 1883 showing salmon fishing. A man in the foreground holds a fishing rod while a man in the middle ground holds a large hook. A salmon leaps playfully out of the water. A rugged landscape appears in the background. Good to very good antique condition with some smudges, some mild wrinkling of the old paper, and a slight crease at center. Measures approx. 16.5 x 11 inches to the paper edges. Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire effect- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the engraved print- these are not in the print.
