Antique engraving showing Canadian Inuit people, published by Bellin in Histoire Generale des Voyages, 1757. At top is an illustration of a person in a canoe or kayak-like vessel, and at bottom is a village scene with a man with a large bow and a woman with a baby. Copper plate engraving on laid paper. Good to very good antique condition with some minor tiny spots and foxing. Measures approx. 7.5 x 5.5 inches to the neatline.
