High Quality Giclee Reproduction
High quality giclee print of probably the earliest map of the town of Truro, MA, 1795 by Nathanael Atkins and Benjamin Dyer. Shows roads, ponds, windmills, the meeting house, and bridges. A fascinating glimpse into Old Cape Cod. The text in the lower right reads: "37 miles from the shire town of the county and 110 from the Metropolis of the Commonwealth - We the subscribers being appointed by the Town of Truro according to our best skill & judgement having taken this plan this eleventh day of March and the year 1795 and the ninteenth of the Independence of America." This image has been slightly retouched but many of the antique map's imperfections remain visible in the image. We can further reduce the imperfections on request for an additional cost. Measures approx. 15.5"h x 18.75"w to the edges of the printed area. The white paper extends beyond these measurements and can be trimmed off if desired. May require additional processing time.
