Antique printed color map of Southern California showing the coast from the Mexico border to Malibu beach, and including San Diego, Long Beach, Santa Monica, and as far east as the Arizona border with San Bernardino, Joshua Tree National Monument, and more. Along the sides are vignettes showing parts of California's history and small illustrations appear throughout the map. This map was produced in 1957 by the Roads to Romance Assn, Inc. The map's verso features more practical information about traveling in Southern California, with a map of highways and photographs of places of interest. Very good condition with some edge wear. Has folds as issued. Approx. 21 x 33.75 inches.
