Antique black and white engraved map of the Rio de La Plata and its environs, including Buenos Aires and Montevideo. Written in French, by Bellin, c. 1755. Features a decorative cartouche and includes illustrated topographical details, some water depths , etc. Visible plate mark. With folds, as issued. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, mild image overlay, and some minor foxing, mainly at the outer edges. Measures approximately 7.5" x 11.25" (H x W) to the neatline.
