Genuine Antique Nautical Chart

Maker: Imray.

Antique nautical chart showing the entrance to the Rio de La Plata by Imray, 1887. This chart is a "blue back chart" and has eight inset maps showing Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Maldonado, Lobos Island, Flores Island, and other approaches. There are also fourteen compass roses on this chart. This chart is in good antique condition, with overall light staining, overall wrinkling, some pencil marks in multiple places, and the edges are sturdy. Remember that this was a working document that was used to navigate these waters on a ship in the late 1800s, so some signs of use are to be expected. approx. 34.5 x 50 inches. **NOTE- because this map requires extra insurance for shipping, an additional charge will appear on your card after your original purchase. If you would like to know what that charge will be, please contact us.** **SOLD**
