Antique uncolored copper plate print from Allain Manesson Mallet's "Description de l'Univers" published in 1683. This interesting print features a small map of the area of the Amazon. Behind the map is a scene presumably of that area with a river, mountains, and forests, as well as two figures that must be Amazon Warriors. Very good antique condition. The verso text is slighly visible. Measures approx. 5.5 x 3.75 inches to the neatline and 8.5 x 5.5 inches to the paper edges. **SOLD**
