Antique map of the Strait of Magellan between Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego from the Atlas Encyclopedique by Bonne and Desmarest, 1788. Shows some towns, some topography. Very little was known of Tierra del Fuego at this time. Sixteen inset maps show close-ups of some areas. Good to very good antique condition with minor signs of age such as small minor spots, slight image transfer, and overall toning that is darker at the paper edges. Measures approx. 9.25 x 13.75 inches to the neatline.
