Antique hand colored map of South America, by E.J. Huntington, 1838. Includes topographical detail and a reference key which denotes the capitals, "cities and important towns", and smaller towns. The corners of the border include decorative compass rose-like shapes. Very good antique condition with mild toning and wrinkling of the paper, as well as some areas of mild foxing/staining which are heavier outside of the border. Measures approximately 8.5" x 11" to the neatline.
