Antique hand colored map from the Atlas of the Hudson River Valley from New York City to Troy Including a Section of about 8 Miles in Width published in 1891 by Watson & Co. under the supervision of F.W. Beers. Includes the town of Clarkstown with Congers and the area that is now Hook Mountain State Park, Ossining with Ossining Village (until 1901, the village was known as Sing Sing), and part of Mount Pleasant with the Rockefeller estate and Rockwood. Shows property owners, parks, cemeteries, railroads, borders, major land and water features etc. Colored by property. In good to very good antique condition with toning, slight wear at the paper edges, and marks from the leather tab in the margins. Some wear at lower corners. Some pencil notations. Backed with linen, with center fold as issued. Measures approximately 19.5 x 29 inches to the neatline.
