Antique hand colored small botanical print of Stachys alpina L. from Jacob Sturm's "Deutschland's Flora" from 1828. The full book title is "Deutschland's Flora in Abbildungen nach der Natur mit Beschreibungen" which translates to Germany's flora in illustrations from nature with descriptions. Stachys alpina L. is also known as mountain heal-all. Very good overall antique condition with paper water mark in upper left. approx. 5 x 3.5 inches. Includes the antique text page in German.
