This colored antique map was published in Letts's 1883 Popular Atlas, Being a Series of Maps Delineating the Whole Surface of the Globe, with Many Special and Original Features. This map shows southern Scotland, including Glasgow and Edinburgh. Inset gives the former names by which the principal divisions of the country were known. Showing major points of interest and geological features, populations, church types, lighthouses, lifeboat stations, railway stations, etc. It measures approximately 15.5 x 14 inches and is in good antique concition with some toning and foxing and discoloration at center fold.
