Antique black and white engraved reduced map of the Strait of Magellan, including a reference list of Bays, Ports, Canals, etc. along the waterway, with additional points of interest noted throughout the map. Written in French, by Bellin, 1753. Visible plate mark. With folds, as issued. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, very minor image overlay, and some minor wrinkling/creasing of the outer edges. Measures approximately 7.5" x 13.5" (H x W) to the neatline.
