High-quality hand-printed reproduction produced in Europe on heavy textured paper of the famous Tabula Anemographica seu Pixus Nautica, vulgo Compass Chart, originally made in 1650, shows the direction of and types of wind throughout the day, in a number of languages including German, Latin, French, Dutch, Italian and Greek. Made using a combination of modern technology and traditional methods, wherein an original is scanned, its likeness is digitally etched onto an engraving plate, then the plate is used to print the image in the traditional way, with a printing press. This black and white chart of the winds and four seasons measures approximately 20.75"h x 24"w.
