High-quality hand-printed and hand colored reproduction of an antique print of a compass rose. Printed on 18th century paper that has hand written script in Italian and a stamp that says Regno Delle Due Sicilie with crest. Made using a combination of modern technology and traditional methods, wherein an original is scanned, its likeness is digitally etched onto an engraving plate, then the plate is used to print the image into antique paper in the traditional way, with a printing press. It is then hand colored. Matted with a neutral mat.
